Worry People

People Worry

You could worry about your intestinal tract , you could worry about your left toe nail.
you could worry about hair loss, you could worry about the hairless mole on your back.
you could worry about death, you could worry about life,
you could worry about the water you drink.

You could worry if you ate too much, or ate too little of the right thing, and if anyone even knew where this food came from, or if it's even food at all. You could worry about the salt or sugar content, or if it was free range or caged. Did it destroy a natural habitat to be grown. Did the workers all get paid?
Will I even live till tomorrow? Will I ever be known for my work? Will I ever fall in love? What if the sun explodes, or if I go blind from watching too much t.v.?

The more worries you worry the more worries you'll have. If you could just stop worrying, would things still be so bad?

This day and age

It has been a while since I worked on a collage/montage, it seems they just happen when the resources fall into place. I can't tell you where the source images come from, they just accrue on my computer as I find images I like. The feather and the flowers I illustrated myself.

Trees do it all

I heard a man say, that fall is on it's way.

Archeological Discovery

Here lye the lost pots of Pompeii, and among the dead they rested for two thousand years with burning ash and crocodile tears. But rain and wind and snow, prevailing gusts of daring trends, they were revealed by chance and manipulation. Perfect vessels the lot except one inferior pot, thrown by the hands of god, not man, who smoothed their earthen bend. And I merely walked along to find them peering from the sand. A vase, a pitcher, and a sconce, with black and white motifs, an octopus and an ox. When I looked down at my foot, I could not help but feel their pain in among the soot. For when the earth ends these ceramics will be lost again.

happy interdependence day.

This work is watercolor and a collage of news-clippings. I would have kept this piece secret till my show, but the red, white, and blue theme made this an impossible post to pass up.

MJ

This is a little piece I did as a tribute to Michael Jackson. Just something I threw togeather while listening to him on Pandora.
