The flux creates, the body profligates. In the synaptic space, art objects are deprecations of the imaginations of the flux -- a flux that uses the body as an organism to deconstruct ideas, patterns, and emotions. With the evolution of the electronic environment, the flux is approaching a point where it will be free from the body to consume immersions into the ejaculations of the delphic space. Work of Post-Art in the Age of Generative Reproduction contains 10 minimal java engines (also refered to as "AI modules") that enable the user to make round audio/visual compositions.

Gavin Fiorina's work investigates the nuances of modulations through the use of slow motion and close-ups which emphasize the Generative nature of digital media. Fiorina explores abstract and fragile scenery as motifs to describe the idea of infinite space.

"It's difficult to enter into this work because of how the reductive quality of the negative space makes resonant the essentially transitional composition."

Using transparent loops, vectors, and allegorical images as patterns, Fiorina creates meditative environments which suggest the expansion of space...

An image. Hung in a well lit room. There are many reproductions. Of the original there is only one. The artist spent months, years, or maybe hours to physically make the piece. A lifetime to conceive it. It beckoned him to place his brush upon the canvas. When he did make pass at it, there were moments of pure pleasure and others of great pain. paradox blocks

These blocks, or some like it, may have been many young children's first explorations in design. This is essentially a box of triangles, with only six colors. A far cry from the design tools I use today. Yet even with its limitations one can imagine infinite possibilities.

A paradox; something so basic with limitless iterations.

I am an Illustrator junkie, and as far as color and shape go, it has limitations not. Yet I still find myself running into issues of control. The rules of real life blocks are not the same as inside a computer program.

Blocks can be handled taken by the fistful or dumped strait from the box. They are imperfect, their edges never seem to meet, something which computer vectors negate.

I call this "real" photoshop. It is easy to forget that the basis for much of the capabilities in the program we all love are from concepts that originated in the dark room. This is a photo manipulation except the fading and overlaying was done in a darkroom, not on a computer.The process is simple yet tricky to achieve. This photograph was done in two exposures, the top half fading into the bottom half.

Thomas Barbèy is an artist that has a large collection of photographs done in this manner. He uses a litany of techniques including in camera exposure to mesh people, places, and things into impossible photographs.

I have ripped off Barbara Kruger!

Came across her work and decided why not rip her off. Her style is easily replicated. There are countless Barbara Kruger look-a-likes. If you follow the formula there is no way to go wrong. Blocks of color, a screen printed halftone photograph, and a clever saying. Wait, a screen printed halftone photograph? These counterfeits aren't replica quality. These words aren't even clever. Maybe Barbara isn't getting ripped off at all.
